The film has sold a total of 4,072,179 tickets for a cumulative total of 5,866,654,490 yen (about US$43.20 million). Tokyo Revengers manga’s live-action film Chi no Halloween -Unmei- (Bloody Halloween -Fate-) opened at #2, while The First Slam Dunk, a new anime film of Takehiko Inoue’s Slam Dunk basketball manga, earned 108,873,600 yen (about US$810,600) in its 21st weekend, rising to #3. Doraemon the Movie 2023: Nobita’s Sky Utopia dropped from #2 to #4 in its eighth weekend, and Hideaki Anno’s Shin Kamen Rider live-action film dropped from #4 to #6 in its sixth weekend, earning 62,391,640 yen (about US$464,600). My Happy Marriage live-action film dropped from #3 to #7 in its sixth weekend, earning 56,160,050 yen (about US$418,100), and the Gridman Universe film dropped from #6 to #9 in its fifth weekend, earning 37,826,150 yen (about US$281,700). Eiga Touken Ranbu: Reimei (Touken Ranbu the Movie: Dawn), the Eiga Touken Ranbu live-action film’s sequel, retained its #10 spot in its fourth week.
