Toei Animation and Crunchyroll jointly announced that the One Piece anime’s 1,000th English-dubbed episode will be premiered at the Grammy Museum’s L.A. Live Roof Top Terrace in Los Angeles, California, on July 2, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. PDT. This event is free and open to all, regardless of whether you have an Anime Expo badge.

Voice actors Sonny Strait (Usopp), Patrick Seitz (Franky), and Ian Sinclair (Brook) will be present for autographs, while there will also be a live drawing showcase, a Q&A session with One Piece animators, and a display of Luffy and Shanks statues. Additionally, there will be demo stations for the One Piece Card Game and One Piece Odyssey game, as well as giveaways for commemorative items like the episode 1,000 opening scene storyboard booklet.
The 1,000th episode of One Piece originally aired in November 2021.
Another commemorative event, “One Piece Day,” will be held over two days, July 21 and 22, at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center, with a worldwide live stream available on YouTube. This event is organized by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Shueisha, and Toei Animation.
This year’s iteration of Anime Expo will occur in Los Angeles on July 1-4. The Premier Fan Badge system has been discontinued recently.
